| The ehrThomas application supports authentication through multiple elements of the user’s identity with the use of industry-recognized standards. |

This feature can be turned on/off from the ehrThomas application. In order to gain access to any of the EHR resource(s), the user must provide the required information to pass through the Multi-Factor Authentication process. This required information consists of a valid phone number or an email address where the user receives an activation code as a text/email message. The Multi-Factor Authentication is applicable at the user level, regardless of group or role assigned to that particular user. This authentication is not restricted to any module or any section in ehrThomas but covers the entire ehrThomas application. Options available for Multi-factor Auth:
